Understanding Odds
Odds Formats and How to Read Them
Odds show the payout ratio for each bet. jom88 uses Malay (fractional), European (decimal) and Asian (handicap) formats so players from different backgrounds can understand them easily. Below is a quick guide to the most commonly used odds formats.
| Odds Format | Example | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal (European) | 2.50 | Bet RM10 → return RM25 (profit RM15) |
| Asian Handicap | -0.5 | The chosen team must win by at least 1 goal |
| Over / Under | O 2.5 | Total goals must exceed 2.5 (i.e. 3 goals or more) |
| 1X2 | X (Draw) | Three choices: home win, draw, away win |
More formats can be found directly within the jom88 platform when you browse the available sports betting markets.

Mix Parlay Guide
How to Get the Most Out of Mix Parlay at jom88
Mix parlay lets you combine several betting selections into a single ticket. Each win on one match is multiplied with the others, making the potential return much higher than a regular single bet.
The key to a good mix parlay is not just picking many matches — it is picking matches you genuinely understand. Malaysia Super League football, for example, is one option that many local players are already familiar with in terms of team statistics.
- Minimum 2 selections to form a parlay
- Can combine different sports in one ticket
- Odds from all selections are multiplied together
- One wrong result will void the entire ticket
